Our Instructor
Vieri Tenuta is a security expert with 15 years of working experience in various verticals of business including the US Federal government, various US State governments, military and intelligence community organizations, healthcare institutions, educational institutions, small and medium sized businesses, the banking sector, industrial manufacturing and supply organizations, international companies, foreign government information and intelligence sharing programs, and private technology sector customers. He is a decorated United States Air Force (USAF) veteran who served by securing highly classified network environments that provided satellite intelligence to warfighters during the Global War on Terror campaign following the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
Vieri is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker, trained in cyber and information warfare by the USAF in the many arts of being a hacker, penetration tester, social engineer, physical ingress/egress tester, and adversarial emulator. He fundamentally understands threats, how to exploit vulnerabilities in systems and processes, and how to protect against these threats.
Vieri holds Master of Science in Computer Information and Network Security awarded from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Security from American Military University in Charles Town, West Virginia. He is a USAF Certified Trainer and has developed curriculum for the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) Command, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
He is an active member of the Tanque Verde community in eastern Tucson, Arizona and is an elected board member of the Tanque Verde Unified School District #13 Governing Board.
